This is a very nice, slick-looking case by Case Mate. It is designed to fit the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930 and is a very nice designer case. This case has a Brushed Aluminum back with the Case Mate logo on it and hard plastic sidings complete with access to all the ports.
The Case Mate Brushed Aluminum case is not designed to protect your Bold 9900 or 9930 from any serious disaster, as mentioned in the above video, it is more designed to show off the look and add some style to your BlackBerry.
Pros
For me, I love the design of the case, I have always liked Case Mate and their Barely There line is really what it says, "Barely There". The gorgeous backing is definitely a plus, it is lightweight, and it has access to all the ports.
Cons
The top and bottom of the BlackBerry is uncovered and the sides near the keyboard stick up a little bit. This wasn't enough to thwart me, though! I am fairly careful with my BlackBerry in any case.
Recommended Audience
This case is not for people who want super-protection for their BlackBerry, they would be better off looking at otterbox for that purpose. This case is catered towards people who want to 'fancy' up their BlackBerry a little bit and add some style. I recommend this case for people who take care of their BlackBerrys (I.E. never drop them and always baby them, like me) and want to jazz it up a little bit and show off!
